The short version

This site doesn't track you. There are no analytics, no advertising cookies and no tracking pixels. It only keeps what you type into its two forms.

The message form

When you send a message, Netlify, the company that hosts this site, stores what you wrote: the message, plus your name and email if you gave them. I use it to read and answer you, and for nothing else. Sending a message never adds you to the mailing list.

The mailing list

When you join the mailing list, your email address and first name go to Mailchimp, which sends the emails. Downloading a free guide from Gumroad also adds you to the list, and Gumroad says so before you download. Every email has an unsubscribe link at the bottom.

Videos

The video lists on this site are fetched from YouTube by the site's own server, not by your browser. The thumbnails load from YouTube's image servers. No YouTube player or YouTube script runs here; videos open on YouTube.

Other sites

Links to YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Gumroad, Amazon (through Geniuslink) and my merch store take you to those sites, which have their own privacy policies and may use cookies. Geniuslink records the click on its way to the store.

Hosting

Like any web host, Netlify handles technical details such as your IP address to deliver pages and keep the site secure.

Deleting your information

To see or delete anything you've sent me, say so through the contact form. To leave the mailing list, use the unsubscribe link in any email.

Changes

If any of this changes, this page will say so.
